news for all the participants

Dear friends,
 
the time is running and we hope that you are looking foreward to come to Berlin and to the project "Queer through the european youthwork".
I will send you some informations of organisation:
 
Accomondation
We will live in the Hotel "Junckers Hotel". The hotel is situated in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.
One of the most popular neighbourhoods in downtown Berlin, it boasts beautiful buildings and architecture dating back to the last years of the 19th century.
Our downtown location offers our guest a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs ensuring an exciting stay in Berlin.
Bus/ tram and subway is all within walking distance of the hotel.
And because all of our rooms are situated at the rear of the hotel our guest is assured of a good nights rest.

During the first night we had to make a compromise: Because of the Loveparade on the 15th of July all hotels are quiet full and so some of us have to stay in bigger rooms. BUT it will be only one night. After that we will stay in double rooms (I hope this will be ok for you!)
 
Insurance
Please make sure that you take your own European Insurance Card with you. Because of the EU it is not necessary for us to make an insurance for you - but please take your card and all the documents (you will need in the worst case) with you!!!!
 
Material
During the Training we will have different possibilities to present our organisations and our project to
interested people:
 - Sonday, 16th of July - the "lesbian and gay Streetfestival" in Berlin, where we will have our own
   stand which we can decorate in a nice way and inform the people about our project
 - Suturday, 23th of July  - the CSD in Berlin
 - Sonday, 24th of July  - the official final presentation of our project and our organisation to an
   interested audience
It will be great if you can bring some materials about your organisations (flyers, posters, flags, give aways, ballons, pins, pencils, sweeties etc...... )

Presentation of your organisation
On Sunday, 16th of July you will hae the possibility to present your organisation to all the participants of our training (maybe as a little speech or power point or ???). because we are arround 8 different organisations it shouln`t take more than 10 minutes! Please tell us as soon as possible what kind of equipment do you need!!
At the end (if you are agree) we would like to collect all materials and put it to the final report for us.
 
National cuisine evening
On Monday evening we will go to a youth centre for lgbt youth. We will visit them and after this we can use their kittchen. The idea is that every country can bring something special - traditional and we will eat and sitt together. It shouldn`t be nothing complicated ... please don`t stress yourselve .... just only to try something.
Only to make sure that you will bring not too less or too much: in our group will be arround 33 people and arround 10 youth will spend the evening with us.
 
Till now some of you didn`t send us the list of participants and the arrival and departure time. If it`s possible please send all informations till Friday, 7th of July, to us ..... we need this informations to make all our reservations more detailed (f.i. in the hotel).
